Am I the only one that has a list of movies where I can pick one and am totally at ease? Some days during the week (or really any day), I feel a sense of anxiousness. This may be due to a busy workday or upcoming events or it just being a Monday. One of the ways I try to reduce my anxiety is to put on one of my favorite movies where I know exactly what’s going to happen and therefore no anxiety of the unknown. 2019 in Review
To be quite honest, this year has been an emotional roller coaster. I have experienced the deepest sadness, but also felt joy in many ways. As I reflect on this past year, I want to remember these moments that have defined the person that I am. Busy season is finally here! And although mine technically started last week, my thoughts on it remain the same: overwhelming, daunting and exhausting. For those who didn’t know, I went to The University of Texas in Austin for my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting and now work as an auditor for one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Houston As accountants, we each are given the gift of having a “busy season”.
