Back in July, a girlfriend of mine and I spent a weekend in San Antonio! For those who know me IRL, San Antonio is one of my favorite cities to visit. It might be because it was where Drew and I went on our first vacation together in college or where we went for our first getaway (shoutout to La Cantera). We try to visit at least once per year, whether it’s a quick weekend trip or even a day trip from Austin. Houston City Guide
When I am asked where I am from, I always and proudly say Houston, Texas. It is one of the largest cities in the country (and growing). However, I sometimes feel like I’m lying just a smidgen when I say “I’m from Houston, Texas”. I was born in College Station, Texas, a college-town just shy of 2-hours northwest from Houston, and was raised in Clear Lake City, a suburb just 30-minutes southeast of downtown Houston.
